The Gallican Navy is the naval service of the Kingdom of Gallica and is one of the largest in the world, after the Araluen Royal Navy. The divisive internal state of the country prevents it from being a major challenger for Araluen, but the Kings of Araluen maintain a strong fleet to ward off potential Gallican aggression regardless. Although the country remains divided amongst various warlords and nobles, the Gallican fleet is large, since different lords have an interest in taxing merchant ships passing through the Narrow Sea to raise desperately needed funding. As with the Gallican army, only a small portion of the fleet is actually loyal to the reigning King of Gallica. The navy has been known to get involved in clashes with the Royal Navy, Skandian wolfships, and various pirates, as well as the usual infighting among Gallican warlords.
